1st District Choir practices will be on Wednesdays September 5, 12, 19, 26, October 3, 17, 24, November 7, 14
First District Festival Choir will be November 15th at MSU Lovett Auditorium. The students will go and work with the conductor all day during the school day and then perform a concert at 6:30 pm that night free for family and friends.
The following is a website where you can find listening excerpts of five of the six songs we are doing. The songs are "I Give You A Song", "Light a Little Candle", "The Season of Love", "Sound the Trumpet", and When I Close My Eyes". Click on the link below. Once on the website go to the very bottom of the page and in small fine print you will see State and Festival Lists. Click on the state Ky, then Ky District 1 5/6 grade Choral Festival the View Lists. Then you will see the lists of songs and under each section will be listen you can click on and listen to the music.
